A warm cup of lavender tea in the evening can also help you to get a good night sleep.

While catnip is generally only thought of as the herb that makes cats go wild, it has numerous benefits to humans. Catnip, like lavender, is part of the mint family. A mild catnip herb tea (it tastes much better than valerian root) is said to help improve digestion, calm nerves, and even ease morning sickness. It’s relaxing properties make it extremely beneficial to those who suffer from insomnia or other sleep disorders.
Catnip is also a favorite for herbal moms. It can help to settle tummy aches and soothe children when they are upset.
